Welcome

Built on a strong foundation with options and upgrades that allow you to customize the needs of you and your family, The Pacific Coast Producers Employee Benefits Program offers protection, flexibility and security.  Our plans are an important part of your total compensation package, and the decisions you make deserve your attention and careful consideration.

This information, along with other materials available from Human Resources, will help you understand your benefit options.  As you consider the options, keep in mind that there are no right or wrong answers or good or bad plans.  The only consideration is what works best for you.

The choice you make will be in place for up to a year. Your next opportunity to change plans will be at the next annual reenrollment period.  You can make mid-year changes only in the event of a qualified family status change. Please read the information carefully and make your choices accordingly.

GOOD POSTURE TO ALLEVIATE PAIN

Poor posture, such as slouching at a desk all day, can cause discomfort and pain, and it can even lead to serious health problems. Check your posture and rearrange your workspace to alleviate unnecessary pain and stiffness:

  • Position your chair so that your feet rest comfortably on the floor, with your knees and hips level.
  • Keep your back straight, your shoulders back and your chin tucked.
  • Your computer monitor should be 18 to 30 inches from your eyes, and the top of the screen should be at eye level or slightly below.
  • Adjust the keyboard height so that your wrists are in a naturally straight position when typing.
  • Your mouse should be directly next to your keyboard.
  • Arrange frequently used objects, such as pens, the phone and your coffee cup, within easy reach.
  • Avoid cradling your phone between your ear and shoulder; use a headset instead, if possible.

If sitting at your desk is causing discomfort, keep adjusting your chair, keyboard and computer screen until you find the right positions for you.
